Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in joinery and be proficient in using both power and hand tools. This role requires an individual who can fabricate and assemble various structures while ensuring high-quality workmanship. The Joiner will play a crucial role in our projects, contributing to the construction and renovation of buildings.
Duties
- Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, including frameworks, doors, windows, and furniture.
- Work with various materials, ensuring precision in measurements and cuts.
- Use power tools and hand tools effectively for construction tasks.
- Perform heavy lifting as required during the assembly and installation processes.
- Conduct masonry work when necessary to support joinery tasks.
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
Experience
- Candidates should have experience in joinery, with a solid understanding of construction techniques. Familiarity with electrical systems is advantageous but not essential. Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in using various tools and equipment related to the trade, including both power tools and hand tools. A commitment to safety practices is essential, as is the ability to perform physical tasks that may involve heavy lifting.
