Behavior Mentor
Nurture support is seeking a dedicated and experienced Behavior Mentor to join our team. We are a supportive and inclusive learning environment dedicated to helping adults children with SEN]. We are looking for someone passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of adults children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
About the Role:
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will provide support to students with SEN, helping them to manage their behaviour and develop essential social and emotional skills by accessing the community through a range of different physical activities. You will work closely with students, and parents to create a positive and supportive learning environment. You will provide daily updates to the parents.
Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and group support to students with SEN.
Implement behavior management strategies and plans.
Help each child or adult develop social and emotional skills.
Monitor and record adults progress.
Communicate effectively with, parents, and other professionals.
Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
Proven experience working with children and adults with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
A patient, empathetic, and understanding approach.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build rapport with children and adults.
Strong behavior management skills.
A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
