Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate self employed Barber to join our well established team.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in barbering and hair styling, with excellent customer service skills. As a Barber, you will be responsible for providing high-quality haircuts and grooming services to our diverse clientele while ensuring a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of barbering services including haircuts and beard trims.
- Consult with clients to understand their grooming needs and preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, tools, and equipment.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and grooming techniques.
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with clients in English to provide tailored advice and recommendations.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations within the salon environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in barbering or hair styling is essential (At least 5 years)
- Strong communication skills in English are required for effective client interaction.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid barbering qualification or licence is preferred but not mandatory for all applicants.
- A passion for the barbering essential.
Candidate must work on a self employed basis and be competent in barbering and have at least 5 years working at a high standard.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £200.00-£400.00 per week
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
