We’re searching for
A Bar Supervisor for Thirteen, our new bar on the corner of Denmark Street in the wider Soho neighbourhood. Thirteen at Chateau Denmark is an energetic bar where the bold meet the playful.
You’ll be an open-minded and creative individual with previous experience in a similar role within a five star environment, possessing a natural curiosity and a strong desire to develop and elevate the bar experience in wider Soho.
Strong leadership is essential, along with the ability to train, motivate and inspire the team. You’ll support the Bar Manager and Bar Assistant Manager oversee the team, revenue, cost control and all daily operational aspects of the bar in line with Thirteen & Chateau Denmark’s policies and procedures.
Daily
- Ensure that Opening, Closing and Operational duties are completed by all the team members under your supervision.
- Liaise with other Departments, Suppliers and Third Parties whenever required, following up with the services acquired whenever necessary.
- Ensure that the company policies, procedures and health & safety regulations are respected to the letter by the team.
- Brief your team with special service requirements and anything of operational interest.
- Keep track on every single client with special needs and preferences.
- Supervise the payment and billing process of every bill in your section.
- Encourage upselling and suggestive selling with guests anticipating always to their needs.
- Ensure all sections are fully stocked and all operating needs are covered.
- Control operating expenses.
- Advise the Manager of any business opportunities for the outlet.
- Before you go home, ensure you debrief all CFF’s, operational challenges and anything of interest to your Manager.
- Train your staff to ensure they are up to company Standards.
- Conduct the Product-knowledge training for the staff.
- Evaluate regularly the SOP’s efficiency and review if necessary.
