Key responsibilities include: Answering/forwarding incoming calls Handling and answering enquiries accurately and completely without dispensing advice, breaching patient confidentiality or making medical judgements Effectively care-navigate to book appointments for patients in accordance with the practice triage system Dealing with patient queries Checking patients in for appointments Dealing with payments from patients Processing prescriptions and dealing with prescription queries Be aware of and abide by practice protocols and policies Verify new patient registrations Book recalls as advised by clinical staff Keep reception area clean and tidy
