We’re looking for a skilled and passionate Baker to join our small, friendly team at Snap, a cosy independent café specialising in breakfast, lunch, and homemade bakes.
This is a part-time position with flexible hours — ideal for someone who wants to bring their creativity and experience into a supportive, community-focused setting.
About the Role
- Part-time hours (flexible depending on the applicant)
- You’ll be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of items including:
- Cakes, cookies, traybakes
- Bread, buns, and other baked goods
- Savoury bakes and pastries
- Confidence in general kitchen duties is important — occasional support with hot food prep may be required
- Opportunity to introduce new ideas and recipes
- Start date: ASAP
About You
- Proven experience working as a baker or in a similar kitchen role
- Confident in baking both sweet and savoury items from scratch
- Holds a valid Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (or willing to obtain one)
- Comfortable working in a small kitchen environment, often independently
- Has strong attention to detail and good time management
- Reliable, clean, and takes pride in their work
