We’re looking for a talented Baker to join our team to create magic with Sourdough and seasonal bakes . Levain Bakehouse is a new independent bakery specialising in artisan baking including; sourdough, enriched doughs and viennoiserie. We’re a small team so responsibilities will be varied across production.
Must Haves:
- A passion for the craft of baking
- At least 1 years’ experience in sourdough baking (in a retail capacity or as an enthusiastic home baker)
- A willingness to step into the Barista world occasionally to craft great coffee and interact with customers (we are a small team and all muck in to make the bakery run like clockwork)
- Reliable, conscientious and hard working
- Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene certificate
Hours:
- 14 hours/week
- Saturday 6.30-1.30 and Sunday 5.30am - 12.30pm
- Possibility for this role to become full time in ~6 months, if desired
