Location: London/Remote (On-site 3 days per week)
Contract Length: 5 months (Starting August, ending before Christmas)
Day Rate: Up to £630p/d
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced AEM Tech Lead Engineer to lead the development team working on our clients digital platform. This role involves hands-on leadership, technical guidance, and ensuring high-quality delivery using AEM CMS and related technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the AEM development team, ensuring best practices and high code quality.
- Architect and implement scalable solutions using AEM CMS, Java (multiple versions including 21), REST APIs, Microservices, and Spring frameworks.
- Oversee build and deployment pipelines using Docker, Terraform, and Jenkins.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver features on time and to specification.
- Drive continuous improvement in development processes and tooling.
- Proven experience as a Tech Lead in AEM CMS projects.
- Strong Java development skills, including experience with Java 21 and earlier versions.
- Deep knowledge of RESTful services, Microservices architecture, and Spring frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with Docker, Terraform, and Jenkins for build and deployment automation.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
