We are a fast paced accountancy practice based just outside Colchester and are looking to add the right person to our Corporate Client accounts payable team.
You will be responsible for managing staff expenses from initial review to payment stage, accounting data entry, and bank reconciliation. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, understanding of budget tracking and cost centres, currency transactions, and good knowledge of UK VAT.
You will be working from our office in Ardleigh. You can drive or cycle here, and the nearest bus stop is on Ipswich Road in Colchester. We have a on-site gym and free parking.
This role requires:
- Excellent English communication skills - oral and written
- Knowledge of Xero software is a preference
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Ability to prioritise and schedule own work
- ICB/AAT qualified at level 2 or higher
- Ability to work quickly and accurately
- Good excel knowledge
- An eye for detail and lots of common sense
- An ability to work to deadlines
- Good computer skills (especially with Excel, MSF Office, and online apps)
