We're on the hunt for a dynamic Warehouse Supervisor to join our team during a period of high growth across the business. Our Warehouse Supervisors play an insanely important role at Pink Boutique and we’re really excited to be opening up this new position.
The desired candidate will either have experience in working in a similar role or be driven in leading a team towards the company vision & mission, ensuring our warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently under the guidance of the Warehouse Manager.
What you are going to do:
- Motivate the team to deliver excellent service and follow the organisational framework in the warehouse to ensure this happens effectively and efficiently. This should include effective team communication and daily/weekly huddles/team briefings with the warehouse team.
- Ensure that the warehouse operates within its resource budget and that the team delivers against its set productivity targets.
- Maintain a positive and proactive approach to all tasks and problem solving.
- Managing staff and dealing with any issues as they arise.
- Promote and manage good health and safety practices.
- Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to share knowledge and understanding of any order and staffing issues that arise.
- Inform the Warehouse Manager of any issues or needs regarding warehouse premises including security, storage, staff facilities, maintenance, health and safety, waste management, repairs and renewals of equipment and consumables on a daily basis.
- Assist in the induction and training of staff.
- Assist as and when required on performance, disciplinary and grievance matters.
- Attend staff meetings as and when required.
- Continually communicate with the Warehouse Manager, and other warehouse supervisors to ensure a motivated and efficiently run operation.
- Be flexible on working hours/shifts/overtime/covering for absence of work colleagues and times of increased workload/volumes. Shifts may not always be fixed and may require rotation depending on business volumes.
- Responsible for the general warehouse standards whilst being particularly mindful of health and safety hazards and fire regulations and ensure there is a departmental fire warden to cover all times open in every department.
- Ensure that any HR issues are reported to management including concerns relating to poor relationships in team, poor performance or any other issues like stress, health etc.
- Perform any other duties typical of the post when required.
- Support in opening up/locking of premises.

This role is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week) in a fast-paced warehouse environment, operating on a flexible rota. Shifts vary daily, running from 7am to 9pm, Monday to Friday which may require adhoc overtime support on some weekends depending on business activities.

Pay: £27,553.00 per year
