About Us
Solar Renewable Hub is a leading supplier of solar panels and renewable energy products, supporting installers and businesses across the UK. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Operative / Driver to join our team.
The Role
As a Warehouse Operative / Driver, you will be responsible for handling stock, preparing orders, and delivering solar panels and other renewable energy products. This is a physically demanding role, requiring someone fit and able to lift heavy goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Driving and delivering goods to customers efficiently and safely
- Ensuring the warehouse is kept organized and tidy
- Assisting with stock control and inventory checks
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Supporting warehouse operations as required
Requirements
- Full, clean UK driving licence (must be 25 or over for insurance purposes)
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy goods
- Flexibility with working hours – standard hours are 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Weekend work is not expected, but if required, employees are expected to be flexible and available to work on Saturdays
- Reliable, hardworking, and a team player
- Previous warehouse or delivery experience (preferred)
- Experience in the solar, renewable, electrical energy industry (advantageous but not essential)
- Forklift licence is not required, but would be beneficial.
- Previous leadership experience is an advantage
