Nivek Catering & Hygiene Supplies are a leading distributor of catering disposables, chemicals, hygiene and light equipment to the catering and hygiene industry across London and the South East. As a rapidly expanding business we are looking for an additional Warehouse Operative with the possibility of Cover Driving during busier periods. This role will be for the later shift of 1000 to 1900 and will require some flexibility to cover the early shift between 0800 to 1700 when required.
Reporting to the Operations Manager the candidate would ideally have:
- Enthusiastic commitment to customer care
- Ability to communicate with people at all levels
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Attention to accuracy and detail
- Previous experience in a busy warehouse environment
· A full UK driving license
· Sound knowledge of London and the South East would be a plus!
What You will Do:
This is a full-time role based in our brand-new purpose-built warehouse situated at the LOC8 Business Park. The role includes loading and unloading delivery vehicles by hand or with a forklift truck (licence will be provided in due course), stock counting and location checks, checking goods in, picking customer orders and loading vehicles. During busy periods you will be required to deliver to our valued repeat customers across the region. This will be on a multi-drop route, driving either a long wheelbase panel van or a Luton Box Van. All routes are rotated across the team.
