About the Role
We’re looking for a dynamic Training Coordinator to join our team and support our employees’ growth and development. As the primary onsite contact for training, you’ll work closely with our Human Resources Manager to deliver impactful training programs that align with our operational goals and high standards. This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday, with negotiable shift timings (ideally 09:00–17:00, including a half-hour break).
Key Responsibilities

Maintain and update a training matrix to outline requirements and scheduling for all staff.

Coordinate and oversee external training bookings as approved by management.

Deliver comprehensive induction programs for new staff and refresher sessions as needed.

Collaborate with warehouse and office management to create quarterly training plans that minimize business disruption.

Develop and maintain role-specific training packs and a variety of training aids.

Research and implement innovative training methods to enhance employee learning.

Manage in-house training facilities and equipment, ensuring they are well-maintained.

Collect feedback from trainers and trainees to continuously improve training sessions.

Partner with the HSE department to deliver relevant safety training.

Assess training effectiveness and report monthly on its impact on employee skills and KPIs.

Conduct organization-wide training needs assessments to identify and address skills or knowledge gaps.

Create Standard Operating Practice documents for each skill and occupation within the company.

Provide ad hoc training in response to incidents or accidents.

Monitor and maintain the Davis Darby database.

Undertake additional ad hoc improvements, reporting, and activities as required.

About You
-
Experience in training coordination, HR, or a related field is preferred but not essential.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with staff at all levels.

Proactive and able to work independently while thriving in a team environment.

Comfortable researching and implementing new training methods.

Basic IT skills for managing databases and creating training materials.
