Job Role: Property Transfer Team Leader
Location: Torquay
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Position in Organisation
This role reports to the Property Transfer Manager within the Innovus Professional Services Department. This role is based in our Torquay Centre of Excellence.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide effective leadership in person or using technology to motivate, engage and maintain morale within the team including monthly one-to-one meetings, coaching, Performance Development Reviews, and regular team briefings
- Have a clear understanding of, and work towards achieving the Department’s KPIs, with an awareness of the levers and levels of priorities of different work types
- To ensure all verbal and written communication to customers is properly processed and responses issued in accordance with targets and in line with our values creating a positive customer experience
- To carry out quality control assessments of work completed by the team, provide structured results, and deliver targeted improvements set by the Property Transfer Manager
- To provide reports to the Property Transfer Manager on team and department progress as required
- Lead and drive efficient team performance and delivery, effectively delegating and organising workload appropriately and managing improvements to absence where necessary
- Recruit, train, monitor and develop team members, outlining the areas of accountability, providing coaching on areas of development and empowering ownership of problems through to resolution
- To ensure all workstreams within the department are properly monitored and managed inclusive of Health & Safety and eLearning.
- Communicate with diverse customers and clients over the telephone and via email, leading on complaint responses
- Be flexible to work on priority cases to meet the needs and requirements of our internal and external customers, clients, and Leadership Team.
- Liaise with different departments and build a network of contacts to ensure that cases and complaints are resolved as well as ensuring up to date information is stored on our systems, provided to our customers and to their legal representatives.
- Take ownership of cases to see them through to resolution, coordinating responses from multiple teams
- Enough knowledge and experience to feed into the CRM digital transformation project, with and on behalf of Property Transfer.

- Be Customer Centric and passionate about being able to effectively support customers with all types queries and complaints, independently or as part of a network. You may already work within the property sector, such experience and knowledge are desired but not essential.
- You have stepped in when a superior is absent or if you spot an issue that needs to be resolved
- Multitasking does not phase you and you can adapt your task list each day to match the business’ needs.
- Keen to learn new processes and be confident to train others at all levels in the business with previous experience leading or training colleagues.
- Used to working in a highly demanding environment interfacing with several key departments.
- An excellent communicator with the ability to motivate and engage your team which you demonstrate through your ability to effectively present meetings and drive your team to deliver results. Your verbal and written skills will be of a high standard.
- IT savvy and confident in using multiple systems. You proficiently use Microsoft applications and systems, efficient in maintaining administration and finance records electronically.
