Are you a self-starter with a passion for precision? We're looking for a Streetworks Administrator to join our team, providing crucial support to our specialist Co-ordinators and the Defect Team. This role is perfect for someone who can work independently and manage a specific set of tasks with a high degree of self-reliance. While a good working knowledge of Streetworks is a plus, we provide full, comprehensive training to ensure you're equipped for success.
Your Key Responsibilities
As a Streetworks Administrator, you'll be at the heart of our operations, managing the administrative flow of our projects. Your daily tasks will include:
- Permit and Notice Management: Processing permit and notice applications through systems like Aurora, Insight, and Street Manager. You’ll also handle the submission of desktop risk assessments for any unplanned works.
- Compliance and Oversight: Acting as a safety net, you’ll use your working knowledge of NRSWA practices to ensure all applications adhere to correct timescales and conditions. You'll be responsible for escalating anything that falls outside of NRSWA compliance or could be a potential breach of the Code of Practice (COP).
- System Maintenance: You’ll maintain our internal system, Deponet, to ensure all permit applications display the correct status (Granted, Refused, Modification Requested, etc.), allowing works to be assigned correctly.
- Administrative Support: You'll be a vital support for our offshore team and will provide additional administrative help to management and other departments on an ad-hoc basis as needed. You'll also be responsible for creating and delivering timely, accurate reports to our field teams.
Your day-to-day work will involve meticulous attention to detail and proactive communication.
You will:
- Raise permits and notices by processing requests from our planning teams, entering them into Street Manager or the SRWR with careful attention to detail.
- Actively monitor applications for approval and manage any modifications requested or refusals from local authorities.
- Process on-site starts and stops for all notices and permits across the business.
- Submit registration details for all excavated works on the SRWR and Street Manager, accurately plotting where works have taken place.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to make necessary amendments to refused applications, working towards approvals.
- Monitor and communicate any commentary from local authorities to relevant stakeholders.
- Run daily reports for each workstream to provide status updates on all raised works to key stakeholders.
