We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of solar energy systems in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. As a Solar Installer, you will play a crucial part in promoting renewable energy solutions while ensuring high-quality installations.
Responsibilities
- Install solar panels and associated equipment on rooftops and ground-mounted systems.
- Conduct site assessments to determine optimal placement of solar systems.
- Use power tools and hand tools effectively to complete installations.
- Perform electrical work related to solar panel connections, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Dig trenches for wiring and other installations as required.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout the installation process.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the installation process.
Skills
- Proficient in using electrical tools and equipment safely.
- Experience with power tools and hand tools is essential.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
