At Danesmoor Group, we’re looking for an enthusiastic and detail-driven Showroom Designer to join our design team. You’ll be responsible for producing high-quality designs, ensuring our products are showcased to their full potential.
Responsibilities
- To produce designs for kitchens, bedrooms and home office displays for the group’s external customer base to the brief provided
- To manage the process from design concept to order, making sure the brief from the customer and the Area Sales Manager are met, following any commercial directives from the group
- To report on the success rate, conversion from design to order, and/or reason for loss of display on a monthly basis to wider business teams
- To monitor trends, both design and commercial, that may influence the groups display strategy and work with wider teams to feedback and implement
- Produce designs for kitchens, bedrooms and home offices for the groups internal purposes following a brief provided
- Digestion and analysis of submitted design briefs to utilise the groups product lines to meet the brief and the groups objectives
- Suggest products and design solutions that show the groups products to the best of their ability, in a manner that meets design guidelines and legislation and the products intended usage
- Maintain the groups high level and quality of design
- Continual development of design knowledge around the wider subject of Interior Design, including specifically Kitchens, Bedrooms and Home Office environments
- Develop a great working relationship with other departments in particular the Sales and Service, in order to meet and enable their requirements
- Continually grow and nurture knowledge of groups ever growing portfolio of products, with new introductions and discontinuations
- Evolution of the design service, with the suggestion of improvement and enhancements the group could offer in this service
- When necessary due to workload pressures , support with the wider departments design role for the group in the form of but not exclusive to external showroom designs, Internal showroom designs, research documents, trend reports and set styling
What we’re looking for:
- Degree-level qualification in Interior Design (or related field).
- Experience with design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp) and kitchen planning tools (ArtiCAD, Winner, EQ).
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for design.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence.

Hours: 08:30 – 17:00
