Aberdeen Blind Company is a leading local provider of quality blinds, shutters, and awnings. We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Weekend Showroom Advisor to be the face of our business on Saturdays.
The Role:
We are looking for a part-time Weekend Showroom Advisor for our busy Aberdeen showroom. The successful candidate will be responsible for opening and closing the showroom and working independently to provide an excellent customer experience.
You should be well-presented, self-motivated, and possess a strong appreciation for the importance of quality customer service. The ability to confidently deal with customers face-to-face and via the telephone is essential.
Hours:
- 4 hours per week: 10am – 2pm every Saturday.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Independently open and close the showroom at the start and end of the day.
- Welcome and interact with customers visiting the showroom.
- Showcase and explain our range of products, helping customers find the perfect solution for their needs.
- Answer incoming phone calls, dealing with enquiries efficiently and professionally.
- Book appointments for our sales team to conduct home consultations.
- Use our computer system to manage customer enquiries and appointment schedules (full training will be provided).
- Process customer payments where required.
- Ensure the showroom remains tidy and presentable.
- Address any customer problems that may arise.
The Person:
- Confident, professional, and friendly manner.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Highly self-motivated and comfortable working solo.
- PC proficient, with experience in MS Office being advantageous.
- Possesses accurate data inputting skills for booking appointments.
- Effective time management and organisational skills.
- A responsible and trustworthy individual.
