We’re a busy, independent car showroom dedicated to providing quality vehicles and excellent customer service. As our business grows, we’re looking for a reliable and organised Showroom Administrator to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes — and on the front desk.
What You'll Do
This is a varied role that combines admin support with front-of-house responsibilities. You'll be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, while also keeping the admin side of the showroom organised and up to date.
Your main duties will include:
- Answering incoming phone calls and greeting customers
- Completing and submitting DVLA forms and vehicle registration paperwork
- Maintaining accurate records and filing systems (digital and paper)
- Processing invoices and logging vehicle sales
- Supporting the sales team with admin and follow-up tasks
- Managing emails and general office communication
- Keeping the showroom and front desk area tidy and professional
What We're Looking For
You’ll need to be someone who enjoys working in a small, fast-moving team, is comfortable with admin tasks, and brings a friendly, professional attitude to work every day.
Ideally, the following qualities are desirable, but not essential as we will train you every step of the way:
- Previous admin, office, or reception experience
- A clear and confident phone manner
- Good attention to detail and time management
- Basic computer skills (e.g. email, data entry, Word/Excel)
- Knowledge of DVLA paperwork is a bonus – but training can be provided
- A positive, can-do attitude
What We Offer
- Competitive hourly rate
- Flexible working hours (full or part-time available)
- On-site parking
- Supportive and down-to-earth team
- Opportunities to grow with the business
We will be in touch following your application, but feel free to let us know whether you are interested in a part-time or full-time position.
All applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK. Right to Work checks will be carried out in accordance with UK government legislation.
We look forward to hearing from you!
