The Bartlett School of Planning (BSP) at UCL is a research-led planning school at the forefront of tackling major urban priorities and challenges. As a truly interdisciplinary centre of excellence, it plays a leading role in shaping debates in the fields of urban planning, urban studies and geography, urban design, and real estate. About the role
Typically, the BSP submits around 60 research proposals per year to a range of major funders in the social sciences (including UKRI, Horizon Europe, Leverhulme, British Academy) valued at approx. £13.81M.
Working closely with the the Research & Enterprise Manager, the role holder will have responsibility for all operational aspects of research support in the Department, including the full life-cycle of research projects from pre-award to post-award and closure of projects.

About you
Educated to an Undergraduate degree level or possessing equivalent knowledge and experience, the role holder will have a strong understanding of research funding bodies, processes, and regulations within a Higher Education environment. They will also bring substantial experience in the financial administration of research grants and a sound knowledge of the wider research funding landscape.
