We’re seeking an experienced Property Claims Handler / Loss Assessor to join our growing Glasgow office team. This is a key role for a technically strong, customer-focused professional with a proven track record in handling domestic and commercial property insurance claims.

<hr data-start="1005" data-end="1008">What You'll Be Doing
Handling property claims from first notification to settlement within a fast-paced, office-based setting whilst being able to get out on the road and meet our clients face to face
Managing your own caseload of domestic and commercial losses (e.g., fire, flood, escape of water, storm damage)
Acting as the policyholder’s representative throughout the claims process, offering guidance and reassurance
Reviewing reports, managing documentation, and negotiating settlements with insurers and loss adjusters
Ensuring claims are processed efficiently, accurately, and in line with regulatory standards
Contributing to the success of the Glasgow office by supporting a high-performance, service-led culture and supporting the team with your expert knowledge
What We're Looking For
Minimum of 10 years’ experience handling property claims would be preferred
Strong working knowledge of building damage, insurance policy wording, and claims negotiation
CILA membership (qualified or working toward) preferred
Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage client expectations during difficult circumstances
Self-motivated, reliable, and committed to delivering outstanding service
A full UK driving licence (for occasional regional travel or training at other sites)
