We have a fantastic opportunity for a part time Retirement Housing Assistant to join the team at Church Court, Dumbarton.
The successful candidate will undertake a range of cleaning duties to ensure that internal communal areas are clean, hygienic and meet the standards expected by our tenants and visitors to the development.
On occasion, the Assistant will be expected to clean vacant flats and/ or external pathways of the development and provide general and emergency assistance to tenants, as required. In addition you will respond to property emergencies, taking appropriate action when the Manager is off duty and providing cover for the development office as required.
Church Court offers safe and secure homes designed especially for those aged 60 and over. The development is located in a quiet residential area, moments walk away from the Meadow centre, St. James Retail park and the High Street, offering excellent transport links as well as local amenities.
Hours of employment are 16 hourshours per week, organised over Monday to Friday.
Role Requirements:
Bield is one of the largest providers of housing and support services to older people in Scotland and everyone plays an important role in making sure that our services improve the lives of older people in Scotland. An interest in working with older people and an understanding of their needs is essential. Although relevant experience in a similar post is also desirable, it is not essential as induction and training will be provided.
