We are looking for a mature counter assistant to join our team. The position involves using a cash register and accepting various forms of payment. It requires strong interpersonal skills as well as the ability to multi-task in a busy retail environment under minimal supervision.
Hours- 18.5 per week
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday
8.00am - 1230
Friday
8.00am- 1300
Occasional overtime and Saturday morning to cover sickness/holidays
Responsibilities:
- Take cash/credit card payments
- Give back correct change
- Make up orders and general cleaning
- Make steak pies, sausage rolls, bridies etc.
- Answer questions about products.
- Communicate with co-workers in the store.
