Job Title: Residential Support Worker – Children’s Home
Location: Nuneaton, Warwickshire
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience & qualifications)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Shifts: Days, evenings, weekends, and occasional sleep-ins (rotational shifts)

We are a nurturing and child-focused residential care provider committed to making a real difference in the lives of young people. Our children’s home in Nuneaton provides a safe, structured, and supportive environment for children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
We are currently seeking compassionate, resilient, and dedicated Residential Support Workers to join our team and provide high-quality care, guidance, and stability for the children in our home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build strong, trusting relationships with young people
- Support children in their daily routines – including school runs, appointments, and activities
- Promote emotional well-being, independence, and positive outcomes
- Deal with challenging behaviours using trauma-informed approaches
- Contribute to care planning, risk assessments, and daily reports
- Work collaboratively with professionals, families, and external agencies
- Participate in household duties and maintain a homely, safe environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience working with children or young people (preferably in residential care)
- A caring, non-judgmental, and resilient approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it)
- A full UK driving licence (essential due to location and duties)
- Ability to work a rota including weekends and sleep-in shifts
