Quotes/ Administrator - Customer Service Team
We have exciting opportunities to join us here at Kempston Controls as a member of our Customer Service Team based in Rushden, Northamptonshire.
At Kempston Controls, our customers are at the heart of everything we do. As a part of our industry-leading Customer Service Team, you'll actively engage with customers via email and webchat to provide excellent customer service.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing quotes and invoices, capturing and processing data, and professionally handling customer enquiries and questions. You will work closely with colleagues and suppliers to achieve the best outcomes for both our customers and the company.
You’ll work within a team of customer-focused colleagues who all share the same goal of providing an exceptional experience for every customer.
What your day-to-day activities will look like:
- Engage with customers to handle their sales and order enquiries via email and webchat.
- Prepare quotes as per the customer's requirements.
- Work with suppliers to obtain prices, discounts, and delivery details.
- Prepare pro-forma invoices for non-account holders.
- Understand and apply rules and regulations surrounding export consignments.
- Liaise with colleagues and suppliers to obtain the best outcome for our customers.
- Professionally resolve problems.
- Update and record customer information on our system accurately
What you'll bring to the role:
- Have experience in dealing with customers via email.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Can adapt to a changing environment.
- Able to confidently work to tight deadlines.
- Have computer skills (Microsoft Applications)
- Be proud of your work with a high level of attention to detail.
