To provide administrative and technical support to the Quality Team. The position involves the preparation, coordination, and delivery of documentation necessary for manufacturing activities in accordance with the Business Management System requirements.

DIMENSIONS
- Exercise the highest degree of discretion and professionalism, when dealing with sensitive data and information
- Prepare First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR’s), for submission the Customer in-line with specific contractual requirements
- Assisting the Quality Team with the administration of the documented Business Management System (BMS)
- Provide technical administrative support to Quality Management team, ensuring this is completed efficiently, as determined by time-bound requirements
- Provide administrative support to other functions of the business as required, ensuring operational requirements are met
- Uploading data and documented information to the Business Management System as appropriate
- Proactively contribute to the Continual Improvement programmes across the business, providing guidance as necessary
- Support the collection of KPI data and creation performance charts as required
- Coordinate and assist with preparation of systems documentation necessary to meet with the requirements of statutory and regulatory bodies, including applicable versions of ISO 9001, 3834, EN 15085, and DIN 2303 (Others as applicable)
- Promote awareness and use of the Business Management System(s), identifying opportunities for training and up-skilling
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient with MS Office
- Experience working in quality focused, administrative support role for a department
- Auditor training desirable
ESSENTIAL
- Minimum of 1-year current experience within an Administration position
- BS EN ISO 9001:2015 awareness
- A strong background and experience of document and data control
- Experience of working within a busy administrative function
- Excellent attention to detail
- Effective communication skills
- Prioritise and perform duties whilst under minimum supervision
- Experience with the creation of FAI documentation
- Ability to work efficiently and to deadlines, to achieve time-bound requirements
- Excellent team player with a Proactive can-do attitude
- Flexibility to performing other tasks if required, and willing to learn new skills
DESIRABLE
- Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings
- Experience of working within Defence and / or Rail Industry sectors
- Experience of Defence (AQAP’s, Def Std’s, Mil Std’s), Rail (RIS), and Automotive (IATF), Standards
- Inspection activities, checking processes and procedural requirements
- Experience of Supply Chain management – Supplier development and auditing
- Internal auditor, (UKAS accredited provider)
- Qualified / current experience of using Lean Six Sigma
