Salary: Circa £70,000 per annum

What you’ll be doing


The Programme Lead role oversees the overall direction, management and delivery of programmes, proactively identifying and managing interdependencies, project scheduling, risks, key decision points and business change considerations. You will work closely with the project managers to develop and maintain a cohesive programme delivery plan, ensuring projects have been prioritised and ordered appropriately, and independencies identified and managed.

  • Scope and manage large scale programmes of work
  • Partner with senior stakeholders, to direct and manage programmes, ensuring alignment to business strategy
  • Develop and maintain programme level plans, ensuring projects have been prioritised appropriately
  • Keep oversight of individual project budgets
  • Ensure Business Change considerations are factored into all projects
  • Lead Steerco programme governance meetings
  • Support the Head of PMO in raising the profile of the PMO and ad hoc support as required

What you’ll bring

  • Proven experience operating as a successful Programme Manager
  • Hands on and extensive experience operating as a Senior Project Manager
  • Ability to influence and engage stakeholders across all levels and functions
  • Experience delivering results in a heavily operational cross functional environment
  • Coaching and mentoring skills
  • Background in retail/hospitality or similar fast-paced customer focused organisation preferred
