People Team Administrator

Come join our exciting, fun, friendly team of Administrators in a fast pasted role based in our Central Support office in Clifton Moor, York. You will be supporting our vet practices across the country with their HR needs.
You’ll have a desire to provide a great service to our practices and a genuine interest in applying and further developing your initial experience within HR, in a department that covers a full range of complex work.

What you'll do on a typical day:
- Be the first point of contact for, sometimes sensitive, people related queries
- Support the people team with administration tasks ensuring they are completed within required timelines
- Work with practices and Payroll to ensure any payroll data is completed according to specified deadlines
- Carry out the administration associated with VetPartners contractual and flexible benefits
- Provide basic advice regarding people processes, ensuring practices are compliant
- Work closely with Senior People Administrators, Shared Service Team Leader and People Advisors/People BP’s to continually develop the operational core people administration, ensuring it meets the needs of our practices
Qualifications / Experience:
- Strong administration knowledge and experience
- Great communication skills
- Well-developed Microsoft Office skills
- English and Maths GCSE A-C/grades 4-9, or equivalent
- HR experience
- CIPD qualification, desirable

- Salary of £25,000
- Hybrid working with three days working in the office and two days from home
- During the initial training period, five days to be worked in the office
