The People Engagement Administrator plays a key role in supporting a positive employee experience all the way from onboarding to CPD. This role ensures the smooth coordination of staff inductions, monitors compliance with mandatory
training requirements, supports the administration of CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) training, and responds to day-to-day HR-related queries from staff. The role is integral to maintaining high standards of employee support and compliance
across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Staff Induction & Onboarding
- Coordinate and schedule induction programmes for all new staff;
- Prepare induction packs and ensure all relevant materials are up to date;
- Track attendance and completion of induction activities.
- Act as a point of contact for new starters during the onboarding period.
Training Compliance Monitoring
- Maintain accurate records of all mandatory training completed by staff;
- Monitor due dates for renewals and issue reminders to staff and line managers;
- Generate regular compliance reports for management review;
- Liaise with training providers and internal trainers as needed.
CPD Training Administration
- Support the scheduling, booking, and logistics of CPD training sessions;
- Maintain an up-to-date register of CPD-trained staff and certification expiry dates;
- Ensure staff are rebooked in a timely manner for refresher training;
- Liaise with trainers and attendees to ensure smooth delivery of sessions.
Staff Queries and General Support
- Respond to ad hoc queries from staff regarding training, induction, and
general HR-related matters; - Escalate complex issues to the relevant People team members where
appropriate; - Maintain confidentiality and provide a helpful, responsive point of contact for
staff.
Administrative Duties
- Maintain digital records and databases in line with GDPR and internal
policies; - Support with the preparation of reports and documentation as required;
- Contribute to continuous improvement in HR administrative processes.

Requirements:
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Good working knowledge of Google Suite of software (sites, sheets, docs).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- High attention to detail.
- Professional, friendly and approachable manner.

Key details of the role:
- Location: Head Office, Newcastle
- Salary: £24,000-£27,000
- Hours of work: Full time year round, 37.5 hours per week.
- Contract duration: Permanent (subject to passing 3 month probation period)
- Reporting to: People Engagement Lead
