Orton Parish Council - Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer
Job description
Orton Parish Council is seeking to appoint a new Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer. The position involves approximately 7 hours work a week with the clerk being required to attend monthly meetings (there is no meeting in August or December).
The applicant should have sound IT skills and will be required to prepare Agendas and Minutes and to attend to routine correspondence. The clerk is also responsible for preparing the annual budget, maintaining the cash book and preparing the annual accounts for audit. The applicant will need to be self-motivated and interested in local affairs.

Salary will be £375 per month gross.
