Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by managing various administrative tasks, supporting the wider teams, and maintaining efficient office processes. This position requires proficiency in computer applications and a strong ability to communicate effectively.
Responsibilities
- General administrative duties, including filing, scanning and maintaining accurate records
- Effectively and professionally communicate via email and telephone with internal and external customers
- Process customer and supplier orders, using the MRP system
- Assist with basic book keeping tasks, including invoicing, reconciliations, tracking payments and maintaining financial records
- Organise deliveries and courier services
- Provide administration support to the sales and marketing teams
Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating professionalism at all times.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Previous experience in a similar role highly desirable, and particularly if coupled with use of MRP system
it is anticipated that this position will be 4 days per week, 9am - 4.30pm - days to be discussed at interview but will need to include a Tuesday. Please note that Friday hours are 9 - 2.30pm.
