Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator to join our team.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, ensuring efficient operations and effective communication within the organisation. This position requires strong administrative skills, good understanding of the full HR life cycle, understanding of basic employment law and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities
HR Administration:
- To maintain and update employee records on Pulse and Citation platforms.
- To support the HR Manager with key HR projects.
- To assist with the onboarding of new employees recruited by the business by setting up their profiles on Pulse and sending them the welcome email.
- To ensure that New Starters are accurately paid for completing the onboarding SkillSlice Training Courses.
- To support with the management of employees exiting the business and maintaining the Employees Leavers List and updating this on a monthly basis.
- To assist with payroll processing by gathering the required data related to Onboarding and SkillSlice courses.
- To maintain the store level Induction files for New Starters.
- To support with notetaking at Investigation Meetings, Disciplinary Hearings, Grievance Hearings, Appeal Hearings, Sickness Meetings and other matters having to do with ER cases.
- To support with the manning of the HR inbox and actioning queries and tasks received via that medium.
- To assist with the collating of data for the weekly HR KPI dashboard that is published weekly.
- To assist with the maintenance of staff files for all employees attached to the business.
Compliance:
- Maintain and update employee records on our in-house people system.
- Assist with recruitment processes, including posting job vacancies on various platforms and managing applicant tracking systems.
- Conduct data entry tasks accurately and efficiently to ensure the integrity of employee information.
- Support onboarding processes for new hires, including preparing documentation and conducting orientation sessions.
- Facilitate communication between employees and management regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Manage social media accounts related to recruitment efforts, promoting the company culture and job opportunities.
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling meetings and maintaining files.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of HR initiatives with organisational goals.
Qualifications
- A first Degree in Human Resources or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience of working in a similar role.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organisation.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems such as Workday, Taleo, PeopleSoft, or Salesforce is highly desirable.
- Excellent data entry skills with a keen eye for detail to maintain accurate records.
- Familiarity with social media management for recruitment purposes is an advantage.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
