As our Linen Porter you will…
- Collect, distribute, and restock linen , Linen Porter you will maintain linen control report and record any linen abuse
- Ensure linen rooms are well-organized and stocked
- Assist the housekeeping team with general cleaning tasks
- Work efficiently to meet daily linen requirements
- Maintain health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Work to daily working schedules
- Ensure that all linen is counted correctly and identify the differences on the daily control sheet.
- Maintain security of linen room keys, and the linen room whilst on duty.
- Ensure that you familiarize yourself with the weekly function sheet ensuring that all stock levels are correct and that the C&B department have their requested linen stocks.
- To ensure that the security surrounding the linen service cupboards on the bedroom floors is adhered to.
- To ensure that all security checks are carried out in the evening before leaving your shift thus ALL linen Chutes & linen stock cupboards are closed and locked of the complete building
- Work in co-operation with any staff and management
- Work within all Health & Safety requirements

· Previous experience in a similar or other related role within hospitality
