Job Title: Hotel Night Porter

Salary: Starting at £14 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Porter to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment for our guests. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide assistance with their luggage.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in public areas, ensuring a tidy environment.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Assist with the setup of event spaces as required.
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure seamless guest services.
- Monitor the condition of the premises and report any maintenance issues to management.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality and professionalism at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- A friendly demeanour with a genuine desire to assist guests.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve lifting or moving items.
