Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Night Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services and maintaining a welcoming environment. As the first point of contact for guests, the Porter will ensure that all visitors receive a warm greeting and assistance as needed, contributing to an outstanding hospitality experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Assist guests with their luggage and provide information about hotel amenities and services.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the lobby and common areas, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Conduct regular checks of the premises to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are upheld.
- Assist in managing deliveries and coordinating with various departments as necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or guest services is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on phone etiquette; multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous.
- A friendly and approachable personality, with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
- A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
