Following ongoing business success and growth, the PETA health and safety team are now looking for an experienced Health & Safety Trainer to join them. This role will primarily be field based, however, there will be requirement for you to work at our prestigious training facility in Cosham, and the opportunity for remote working on occasion. This role could also be an excellent opportunity for someone currently working in a SHEQ position who is looking to take a proactive step into training.
This role is offered on a full time (Monday to Friday) contract, however there is possibility for a part time opportunity for the right candidate.

As our newest Health & Safety Trainer, you will report into our experienced H&S Manager and be supported by our team of highly experienced and skilled Trainers and administration staff.
What will I be responsible for?
As a Health & Safety Trainer, you will be working with a range of clients to support with all aspects of health and safety. You will deliver a specialist and professional service in respect of training advice, guidance and practical assistance. We deliver training to our customers through face-to-face sessions, virtual classrooms, and digital learning platforms. The ideal candidate will be confident in, and enthusiastic about, engaging across all these formats.
What will I need to succeed?
To be successful as our newest Health & Safety Trainer, passion, attitude, and enthusiasm will be key.
You will need to be able to engage effectively with customers from a broad range of industries and deliver training in a way that positively influences the development of a safety culture. Alongside your proven experience as a Trainer, you will also have the following qualifications and skills:
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent – desirable
- Teaching qualification
- Practical experience in a health and safety role
- Ability to adapt your delivery of training to a diverse audience
