Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team around CA7 4QZ. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes and home care settings, ensuring their comfort and well-being. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and assisting with daily activities, while fostering a positive environment for our clients.
Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support individuals with mobility and physical activities, ensuring safety at all times.
- Help with the preparation of meals and assist clients during mealtimes.
- Maintain accurate records of care plans and client progress, adhering to established protocols.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for both clients and staff.
Skills
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to understand and implement care plans tailored to individual client needs.
