Fleet Compliance Administrator

An established and growing transport company is seeking a meticulous and proactive Fleet Compliance Administrator to join its busy operations team. This is a key role in ensuring the company’s fleet remains fully compliant with all legal and regulatory standards.
About the Role:
The Fleet Compliance Administrator will be responsible for managing vehicle compliance records, ensuring all vehicles and drivers meet operational and legislative requirements. You'll play a critical role in supporting safe and efficient transport operations.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records for vehicle inspections, MOTs, services, and maintenance.
- Ensure driver files, licence checks, and CPC training records are current and complete.
- Monitor and resolve vehicle defect reports in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with workshops, drivers, and suppliers to schedule maintenance and repairs.
- Assist with audits and compliance reviews, including DVSA inspections.
- Stay informed on transport legislation changes and advise relevant stakeholders.
- Provide general administrative support to the transport team.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a fleet administration or compliance role, ideally in the transport or logistics industry.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Good understanding of transport compliance and regulations (e.g. DVSA, FORS).
- Effective communication skills and ability to coordinate with various departments.
