We are a completely independent network for mortgage and protection advisers with over 850 members across the UK. We have an exciting opportunity for a Risk Administrator to join the team to help and support our advisers, who we consider our customers.
Due to the nature of the responsibilities, the successful candidate will be required to work full-time at our Head Office in Knowle, Solihull. Due to the nature of certain responsibilities, no flexibility can be offered regarding this requirement.
This role is well-suited for a proactive individual with prior experience in Financial Services, ideally within a risk function. We’re looking for someone energetic and analytical, capable of making informed decisions, adaptable to change, and able to thrive in high-pressure environments.

Responsibilities of a Risk Administrator
- To package Appointed Representative/Adviser applications, and to ensure sufficient information is collected to make informed decisions on the applicant’s fitness and propriety and their ability to meet Network and Regulatory standards.
- To assist the Compliance function in other areas as directed by the Regulatory Support Manager and Head of Regulatory Governance.
- To help ensure the smooth running of the Network Fitness and Propriety Scheme, both at onboarding stage and on an ongoing basis.
- To assess suitability of new applicants to the network via our internal process which ensures sufficient information is collected to make informed decisions on the applicant’s fitness and propriety and their ability to meet Network and Regulatory standards.
- To assist with the business carrying out its Data Protection obligations.
- Management and maintenance of CRM Systems.
- To assist in the approval of introducers.

Requirements of a Risk Administrator
- The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years administrator experience.
- Previous Financial Services experience is preferable ideally in a risk function.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
- Good team player, but with the ability to work under own initiative.
- Adaptable and confident in taking on new tasks.
- The ability to analyse information with a view to making informed decisions.
- Competent on Microsoft office suite i.e. Excel, Word etc.
- To maintain ongoing competency through development of personal training plans in conjunction with the Regulatory Support Manager.

Working hours of a Risk Administrator
- Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00 a total of 36.25 hours per week.
- The successful candidate must work full-time from our Head Office in Knowle, Solihull, and should live within a reasonable commuting distance to allow for daily travel. This is strictly an office-based role with no flexibility, so if you are seeking remote or hybrid work, we kindly ask that you do not apply.

Salary of a Risk Administrator
- £23,015.85 - £24,000 dependant on experience for our higher salary banding you must possess all the required qualifications/experience as stated above
