Rotherham Council is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to support the effective management of our school PFI project. This is a key role within Facilities Services, responsible for ensuring accurate administration and excellent stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily tasks of the Councils PFI School project.
- Respond to customer and stakeholder enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Use a range of ICT applications including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation software, internet and email.
- Maintain accurate and secure records in line with auditable financial procedures.
- Analyse and handle sensitive information with care, confidentiality and accuracy.
- Provide administrative support and contribute to contract monitoring and reporting.
- Foster positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
After the training period, you will provide essential administrative support in several areas, including but not limited to, voids/dispersed properties, handling post, processing Cedar orders, quotes, and co-ordinating hospitality requests.
You will have the opportunity to expand your skills and knowledge within the service. We are looking for a hardworking, customer-focused, and conscientious individual who can adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Until 31st March 2026 employees paid at Band D and above are subject to a temporary pay reduction of 1.15% spread out by means of a monthly deduction from each pay period over the full financial year.
