The Product Content Lead is responsible for the efficient and accurate onboarding of new products to the company's online platforms. This role involves leading a UK and Offshore team, developing and optimising onboarding processes, incident management for live site or system issues and ensuring seamless integration of product information to drive sales and enhance the customer experience. 

 

Product Content lead will drive and process commercial optimisation opportunities briefing down priorities to the Product Content assistants, working alongside them to process and optimise based on these opportunities and drive new optimisation discussions based on the data presented. These optimisation opportunities will be focused on SEO enhancements, actioning of updates from commercial testing to enhance onsite product copy and imagery updates, working with reporting to devise the workload based on commercial priorities.

 

Alongside item optimisation pre and post launch, the lead will be responsible for highlighting back to product teams, for their divisional area, items that are in stock/due in but are not in a fit state to launch, to push for a timely product launch aligned with stock and full optimisation of the products. 

 

About you:

 

Team Leadership

Recruits, trains, line manages Product Content Assistants, sets goals, delegates tasks, and ensures workload distribution for both UK and Offshore teams.

 

Product Onboarding

Oversees the entire onboarding lifecycle from data checks to online publication, ensuring timely and accurate product information entry and data integrity.

 

Content Optimisation

Owns product titles, descriptions, SEO banner copy, attribution, and imagery, focusing on SEO, conversion rate optimisation, and incorporating AI and automation.

 

Commercial Focus

Drives and processes commercial optimisation opportunities based on data and reporting, assessing sales performance and onsite metrics.

 

Collaboration & Communication

Acts as a liaison between departments, collaborates with Trade, Studio, Product, and Development teams, and communicates team performance to senior management.

 

AI & Automation

Drives and identifies ways to use AI and automation in daily workload, off shore team workload and uses AI to implement opportunities for efficiencies.
