This role is central to how we define and deliver customer and product capabilities across Bupa. You'll help us build flexible, scalable architecture that supports a wide range of customer types-from individuals to businesses-and ensures our products are easy to manage, adapt and grow. You'll be working across UK and global markets, helping us stay agile, compliant and customer-focused.
Key Responsibilities
As an Enterprise Architect, you'll:
- Lead the development of enterprise-wide architecture strategies that support Bupa's long-term goals
- Oversee the design of product catalogues that are flexible, extensible and not tied to specific systems
- Make sure our products are accessible to B2B, B2C and B2B2C customer groups
- Use data to drive insights into product uptake and inform roadmap improvements
- Integrate regulatory compliance into product architecture across varied customer segments
- Design for agility-supporting acquisitions, partnerships and new product launches
- Build rules to manage relationships between customer types and products
- Create future-ready architecture that supports new customer types like guests and prospects
- Oversee common digital capabilities across multiple business lines, including KYC
- Work closely with stakeholders across the business to align architecture with strategic goals
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who brings deep technical insight, strategic thinking and a collaborative mindset. You'll need:
- At least 7 years' experience in architecture, with 3+ years in healthcare
- Experience developing products for B2B, B2C and B2B2C customer groups
- Background in product-centric organisational structures
- Strong stakeholder management and consultative skills
- Experience with modern architectures and distributed systems
- Ability to interpret complex compliance requirements and integrate them into design
- Commercial acumen and experience contributing to business cases
- Skills in budgeting, project governance and quality management
- A future-focused mindset and a passion for innovation
