RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

- Be prepared to work additional hours when necessary.
- Responsible attitude to driving and the care of the Company van.
Outline Duties:
- Your duties shall be a combination of driving and warehouse duties to support the other members of the team.
- You will also be responsible for supporting the administration function when required.
- You will be capable of performing all branch duties including, driving, warehouse picking, and general paperwork.
- Have a good knowledge and understanding of company products. On-the-job training will be provided.
- Ensure all paperwork for orders and deliveries is accurate and excellent customer service is always provided.
- Additional hours where necessary to support all required branch activities.
- Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Must have a valid UK driving license.
General:
- It is essential that all members of the team are prepared to help each other in times of need. This does mean that a flexible attitude to the duties to be carried out is essential; providing cover for other members of the team will be a requirement of this position.
- All holidays must be carefully coordinated with the other members of the team; only one member of the team may be on holiday at any point in time (except during fixed shut-down periods)
Health & Safety:
- Employees must ensure that they take reasonable care of their own health and safety and the health and safety of others who may be affected by their actions or omissions; that they familiarize themselves with the health and safety arrangements that apply to themselves, their equipment and their work; that they co-operate with management to ensure that all statutory duties are complied with.
- Monday to Friday - 8 am to 5 pm
- 42.5 hrs per week
- Any hours worked over 42.5 hrs is paid at time and a half
- No weekends
- No bank holidays
- Christmas Break
