*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated Dog Warden to join our team in ensuring the welfare and safety of dogs within Greater Manchester. The role involves enforcing dog-related legislation, responding to calls regarding stray or nuisance dogs, and promoting responsible dog ownership. *Responsibilities* - Patrol designated areas to enforce dog control legislation - Capture and transport stray or lost dogs to the appropriate facility - Investigate complaints related to dogs, including barking or aggressive behaviour - Provide advice and support to dog owners on responsible pet ownership - Maintain accurate records of all dog-related activities and incidents *Qualifications* - Experience in r animal handling is desirable but not essential as full training will be given- Strong customer service skills when interacting with the public - Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling dogs - Training will give you the knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to animal welfare and control Hours of work are Monday -Friday 9-5. Some flexabilty required
