Who We Are
Founded over 12 years ago in the heart of Fulham, London Walking Paws is a trusted name in premium, home-from-home dog care. We’re proud to offer dogs the fun, safety, love, and attention we’d want for our own pups – Archie, Charlie and Mary.
Our small, passionate team works closely together to deliver daily adventures and tail wags for every dog we care for.
Now, we’re looking for a dedicated Dog Walker & Driver to help us bring joy to even more four-legged clients.
About the Role
You'll be responsible for collecting dogs from their homes, taking them on engaging, safe group walks (maximum 3 dogs at a time), and returning them happy and tired. You'll act as a key point of trust for clients and a caring, confident handler for dogs of all sizes and personalities.
Your Responsibilities
- Walk up to 3 dogs at a time using positive handling techniques
- Safely collect and return dogs to their homes in a timely manner
- Walk in all weathers and across local parks and green spaces
- Monitor each dog’s wellbeing and behaviour, reporting any concerns
- Communicate clearly and kindly with clients and the team
- Ensure dogs are clean and comfortable before drop-off
- Follow the daily schedule and manage time efficiently
- Take occasional photos or updates to share with owners (if required)
What We’re Looking For
✔ A genuine love of dogs and experience caring for or walking them (especially groups)
✔ Confidence with all breeds – large, small, young and senior
✔ Physically fit and happy to be on your feet outdoors
✔ A positive, calm and patient approach to animal care
✔ Self-motivated and able to manage your own schedule
✔ A full clean UK licence
✔ Your own car is a plus, but not required
✔ Excellent timekeeping and reliability
✔ Clear and friendly communicator – with dogs and humans alike
What You’ll Get
- Comprehensive training in dog handling and positive reinforcement
- A fulfilling role doing meaningful work outdoors
- Supportive, dog-loving colleagues in a small friendly team
- Flexibility across weekdays and weekends
- The chance to make dogs' days – and yours – better
