Stock N Lock Self Storage Ltd, a dynamic and rapidly growing company in the self-storage sector, is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive team member to join our award-winning team as a Customer Service Advisor at our Kidderminster Store.

About the Role
As a key part of our close-knit team, you'll be involved in all aspects of the store’s daily operations—from welcoming customers and managing accounts, to helping drive sales and contributing to strategic business decisions.
Store Opening Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8:00am-6:00pm
- Saturday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
- Sunday: 11:00am-5:00pm
- You’ll work 5 out of 7 days, on a 3-week rotational weekend basis. One weekend off, one weekend fully in, and one weekend Saturday worked (can be displaced due to holiday or sickness.)
- You’ll work 40 hours per week, typically 8-hour shifts with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break
Key Responsibilities
Client Services
- Greet and assist customers in-store and over the phone
- Understand and respond to customer needs with a personal, solutions-focused approach
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure professional, timely communication
Sales
- Support occupancy growth by converting enquiries into move-ins
- Drive ancillary product sales through excellent customer service
- Manage client relationships from enquiry through to onboarding and beyond
Business Support
- Understand and influence store performance metrics
- Collaborate with the Store Manager and senior leadership to help shape store strategy
- Own your performance, take initiative, and solve problems with confidence
Store Operations & Maintenance
- Participate in daily routines, ensuring the store is clean, secure, and operational
- Take pride in store presentation, identify issues, and take prompt action
- Be hands-on and ready to roll up your sleeves when needed
Administrative Duties
- Handle emails, client communications, deliveries, and stock checks
- Maintain accurate records and assist with audits
- Support the overall smooth running of the store

Essential Skills & Qualities:
- Outgoing, confident, and well-presented with excellent communication skills
- Friendly, helpful, and calm under pressure
- Strong customer focus with a consultative sales mindset
- Organised, reliable, and capable of working independently
- Proficient in MS Office and comfortable handling numbers
- Previous experience in customer service and sales, is required
- Experience in self-storage is a bonus, but not essential
- A full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle is essential
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive salary, £25,400 per annum.
- Bonus scheme linked to store performance, potential OTE £2200
