The A Side: A Day in The Life

- Ad hoc tasks from the creator marketing managers
- Sourcing creators and outreaching to them
- Helping with reporting on projects
The B Side: Skills & Experience
Summary of the Creator Assistant role
Reporting to the Creator Marketing Lead, this is an exciting role within the newly formed Audience team at Universal Music, with a focus on the label’s strategy on Creator marketing.
Be organized
- Manage your time effectively to make sure your to-do list is managed, and business priorities are understood
- Be very quick and responsive on email
Be Digital:
- Keep up to date with the creator landscape, plus general online culture (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram)
Be Administrative & Analytical:
- Make sure all of our creators are paid using our in-house tool Uniport.
- Use our internal data tools to collate results from our campaigns, forming analysis & learnings around this data.
- Be pro-active to ensure all internal documents & data tools are up to date.
- Collate influencer lists and contact details for merch drops and events.
- Arrange travel & logistics for creators to attend our events.
Person Specification
- A methodical, analytical brain
- Incredibly organised, responsive and quick on emails.
- Has a great knowledge of social media platforms, particularly TikTok.
- Familiar with the influencer landscape, in lots of different niches.
- Keeps an eye on current trends.
- The ability to learn quickly and adapt to the changing market.
- Excellent administration skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent IT skills including competency across all Microsoft / Google Workspace.
- Collaborative and enjoys working with a team.
- Passionate about music and pays attention to the music/artist landscape on socials.
Desirable
- Enjoys meeting new people and industry events.
- Has experience using data tools.
- Has experience using internal Universal systems.
