Job Summary:
Before & After School Club Staff Member
We’re on the lookout for a dedicated, outgoing and fun-loving individual to join our friendly team, helping children start their school day with energy and positivity, and supporting them once the school day is done.
The role includes:
- Serving breakfast to the children before school
- Providing an after-school snack
- Playing games and sports to keep the children engaged and active
- Supervising and managing children during activities, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times
- Creating a nurturing, inclusive environment that builds confidence and encourages learning and growth
- Communicating effectively with children, parents and fellow team members to maintain a supportive and collaborative atmosphere
- Helping to keep the childcare area clean, organised and welcoming
We’re a young and growing company looking for bubbly, enthusiastic team players who want to be part of something exciting. You’ll need great communication skills, a proactive attitude and a natural flair for working with children. Leadership ability, multitasking skills, and being reliable, trustworthy and punctual are all key.
Full training is provided, so previous experience in a similar role isn’t essential. However, if you have experience working with children or in sports coaching, that would be a real bonus. We also run holiday camps during school breaks, so there’s potential for additional work if you’re interested.
Hours:
- Morning: 7:30–8:30am
- Afternoon: 3:00–6:00pm
Having a valid DBS check, First Aid training, and a Food Hygiene certificate would be ideal – but if you don’t have them yet, we’re happy to provide them for you.
