Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) to customers.
- Take food/drink orders from customers or wait staff.
- Ensure customers are of legal drinking age by checking IDs.
- Handle cash and operate the till/POS system.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness of bar, counters, and glassware & in the dining area
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Monitor customer alcohol consumption and follow responsible serving guidelines.
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar area.
- Greet and seat customers with a friendly attitude.
- Present menus and offer food and drink recommendations.
- Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally.
- Check in with customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Clear tables and reset them for the next guests.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
