Bar/Restaurant Staff

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) to customers.
• Take food/drink orders from customers or wait staff.
• Ensure customers are of legal drinking age by checking IDs.
• Handle cash and operate the till/POS system.
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness of bar, counters, and glassware & in the dining area
• Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Monitor customer alcohol consumption and follow responsible serving guidelines.
• Assist in setting up and closing down the bar area.
• Greet and seat customers with a friendly attitude.
• Present menus and offer food and drink recommendations.
• Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally.
• Check in with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Clear tables and reset them for the next guests.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From £12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
